Designed for Margaret Island, the memorial is both a memorial site and an online platform that provides access to personal stories collected on the subject. It also includes a memorial column that submerges into the Danube from time to time, a walkway and the Danube itself, which can be interpreted as a metaphor for memory. However, it is not only the one-time presence of the spectator that renders the work into a memorial, but also the planned annual events and memory collection.
