The site of the work is a vacant lot on Hunyadi János Road, transformed into a space of commemoration with the appearance of the work, which can be perambulated. The proposed memorial duplicates the existing concrete walls, thus making the absence palpable and identifying the space as a site of women’s suffering. Between the retaining wall and its replica, the visitor enters a corridor-like space – it can be a place of retreat, of mourning. An important element of the work is the garden of healing and the combination of text fragments referring to trauma.
